What does the consultation fee include?
The fee covers your appointment with Dr Awal, a detailed clinical assessment, a written summary with your personalised plan and — where clinically appropriate — a private prescription. Blood tests, prescription medication costs and pharmacy dispensing fees are not included.
Are prescriptions included in the price?
We do not charge a separate prescription fee. You pay the pharmacy directly for any medication it dispenses. Some online pharmacies can deliver to your door.
Can I claim the cost back through private insurance?
Yes. We can provide a detailed invoice with all the information most insurers need. Please check your policy covers private menopause consultations and prescriptions.
How do I pay?
Payment is taken securely online when you book. We accept all major credit and debit cards.
What if I need to reschedule or cancel?
You can reschedule up to 24 hours before your appointment at no charge. Cancellations within 24 hours may be subject to a fee.
Are there any hidden fees?
No. The price you see is the price you pay for the appointment. We will always explain any additional costs — such as blood tests or medication — before you proceed.
